Onda Pro is a non-surgical body and facial contouring treatment that uses patented Coolwaves™ microwave technology in combination with the PGW (Precision-GigaWave) energy delivery system. It is designed to address localized stubborn fat deposits, cellulite (orange peel appearance), and skin laxity. The treatment is also suitable for selected facial areas, where it may support fat reduction, contour refinement, and skin tightening.
Coolwaves™ operates at a specific microwave frequency (2.45 GHz) , which is selectively absorbed by adipose tissue. This generates a controlled thermal effect that disrupts fat cell membranes, and promote the release of stored lipids These lipids are then gradually processed through the body’s natural lymphatic and metabolic processes. Concurrently, the thermal effect stimulates neocollagenesis and elastin production within the dermis, supporting tissue remodeling as well as improvement in skin firmness and laxity.
Onda Pro features three specialized handpieces designed to address different areas and tissue depths, enabling a tailored approach based on individual clinical needs:
- Pocket Handpiece: Designed specifically for the face and neck. It is intended to address localized facial fat, nasolabial folds and marionette lines, while stimulating collagen production for facial and neck tightening and lifting.
- Shallow Handpiece: Designed for superficial fat layers on the face and body. It helps improve double chin, skin laxity, and smooths the appearance of cellulite.
- Deep Handpiece: Designed for deeper localized fat deposits on the body, particularly in areas such as the abdomen, flanks, thighs, buttocks, and arms.
