Radiofrequency & Targeted Ultrasound for Skin Laxity and Localized Fat
EXION Body is a non-invasive treatment combining monopolar radiofrequency (RF) and targeted ultrasound to address two separate concerns in one applicator: skin laxity and localized fat. It can be used on areas such as the abdomen, arms, and thighs, including regions that are typically harder to treat.
How It Works
Skin laxity: Monopolar RF and targeted ultrasound heat the dermis and reticular dermis to 40–42°C, stimulating fibroblasts to increase hyaluronic acid, collagen, and elastin production.
Fat reduction: Active cooling protects the skin surface while RF heats subdermal fat to around 45°C, inducing fat cell apoptosis and gradual reduction of the fat layer.
