Mounjaro contains tirzepatide, which acts on two hormone receptors (GIP and GLP-1) to help regulate appetite and blood sugar. It is used alongside diet and exercise for weight management, and separately for glycaemic control in type 2 diabetes.

- Adults with obesity, or overweight with a related condition (e.g. high blood pressure, abnormal cholesterol/lipid levels, sleep apnoea, cardiovascular disease)
- Adults with type 2 diabetes requiring improved blood sugar control
