EXOLASE ONE® Dual-Wavelength Fused Erbium Laser (Central Shop Only)

EXOLASE ONE® Dual-Wavelength Fused Erbium Laser

One beam. Surface and depth treated at the same spot.

Facial ageing rarely appears as a single concern. Enlarged pores, fine lines, uneven pigment, redness and laxity often present together. Conventional care usually needs separate ablative and non-ablative systems, delivered in stages. EXOLASE ONE® is BTL’s fused erbium laser: it combines 2940 nm ablative Er:YAG and 1540 nm non-ablative Er:Glass into a single beam of light, treating the exact same spot simultaneously. This reduces mismatch between the two energy footprints and creates a different form of laser–tissue interaction from sequential, two-device protocols.

How it works

2940 nm Er:YAG

Strongly absorbed by water. A precise, lower thermal-residue ablative erbium laser used to refine surface roughness, dullness and some superficial pigment.

1540 nm Er:Glass

Less strongly absorbed by water, so heat can reach the dermis. Used to stimulate collagen remodelling, improve laxity, and may also help certain redness concerns.

With ONEpulse™, 1540 nm is delivered first within the same pulse, then 2940 nm. Epidermal refinement and dermal stimulation therefore sit in the same repair zone. Coverage is more even, and results are generally more predictable.

To Treat / Improve
☑ Rough texture, enlarged pores and surface irregularity
☑ Fine lines and lines around the eyes
☑ Pigmentation and uneven tone
☑ Redness and flushing related to fine vessels
☑ Skin laxity
☑ Wart removal

Treatment modes

ONEpulse Gentle
For preventive maintenance and overall skin quality. Anaesthesia is usually not required. Downtime is minimal, and sessions can be scheduled more closely. Suitable for younger skin that needs glow and refinement, and can also be used for gentle treatment around the lips.  After Gentle mode, many people can return to makeup the next day.

ONEpulse Advance
For skin that already shows clearer texture change, pigment, redness and mild-to-moderate laxity. Downtime is typically about 3 to 5 days. A course of 2 to 3 sessions, about one month apart, is commonly recommended.

ONEpulse Intense
For more established signs of ageing. Downtime is typically about 5 to 7 days. Most patients have 1 to 2 sessions.

During treatment you may feel warmth or a light pricking sensation. Immediate redness and a warm sensation are common afterwards. Intense mode may produce crusting and peeling that settle over several days.

  • Important Notes
Avoid injectable fillers and neuromodulators in the same area for two weeks before treatment. The exact interval is decided by the treating physician.
  • Patients taking oral isotretinoin must complete the required washout period before laser treatment can be considered.
  • Cooling and repair products may be used as advised by your doctor.
  • For 24 to 48 hours, avoid irritating the treated area. That includes exfoliation, acid products, alcohol-based toners, hot compresses and saunas.
  • Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen every day for the following weeks (SPF 50 or above is recommended). Avoid tanning and prolonged direct sun.

FAQs
How is this different from CO₂ laser?
CO₂ laser produces more thermal injury, longer downtime, and a relatively higher risk of pain and pigment change. EXOLASE ONE® uses Er:YAG for the surface, with lower thermal residue, then adds 1540 nm Er:Glass for deeper stimulation — ablative and non-ablative action in one fused beam rather than two separate systems.

Is one session enough?
Gentle mode usually needs a short series of sessions to keep glow and refinement more stable. Advance mode is generally planned as 2 to 3 sessions. Intense mode can sometimes show a clearer change after 1 to 2 sessions. Collagen remodeling continues over the following months.

Can it be combined with other treatments?
Some tightening devices can be planned with Gentle mode in the same overall programme, but spacing is required. Do not combine treatments on your own. Fillers and wrinkle-relaxing injections also need an interval. The plan should be tailored and discussed with your doctor.

When can client go back to work after treatment?
Gentle: often the same day or the next day.

Advance: allow about 3 to 5 days for redness and peeling.

Intense: allow about one week.
