Profhilo is a BDDE-free injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) based product for treating skin laxity. It combines 32mg of low molecular weight HA (L-HA: 80-100kDa) and 32mg of high molecular weight HA (H-HA: 1100-1400kDa) into stabilized hybrid HA complexes, with a total HA concentration of 64mg.

PROFHILO® may be used in areas affected by skin laxity, including the lower face (cheeks, lower eyelid area, jowls), forehead, chin/neck, inner arms, back of hands, upper chest (décolletage).

 

 

What is Profhilo used for?

PROFHILO® should not be used in individuals in the following situations: known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid, pregnancy, breastfeeding.

It should be noted that the treatment must be performed by registered doctors and relevant risks should be clearly understood before the treatment.  If there is any problem before or After the treatment, consultation with the attending medical personnel is necessary.

Combination Treatment: Profhilo with SKINKÒ E

Profhilo may be administered together with SKINKÒ E, a separate hyaluronic acid-based formula containing over 50 added vitamins, amino acids, minerals, and antioxidants, within the same session. It can be administered via injection, mesotherapy device, or a compatible delivery system.

  • Dry, dull, or lax-feeling skin
  • Fine lines and uneven skin tone
  • Sensitive skin, or those unable to tolerate polynucleotide (PN)-based treatments

Treatment is administered by a registered doctor. A course of 2 to 3 sessions, spaced approximately 4 weeks apart, is generally used.

Safety & suitability
As with any injectable treatment, mild redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site may occur. This treatment does not replace daily sunscreen. Your doctor will assess suitability at consultation.
